IG Markets had decided to relocate the Melbourne office in their global operation, and approached Contour to design and deliver their new workplace within the Queen & Collins building in the CBD. Contour were tasked with designing the space that seamlessly blended a professional, client receiving space with a relaxed and welcoming work zones that supported IG’s hybrid workstyles.  

To address this, Contour created a dynamic environment that promotes interaction and collaboration in key areas of the office. A large flexible space was designated to act as a social hub, centrally located on the floor to bring teams together, socialize, play & celebrate with the ability to house town hall gatherings. The flow of the office was carefully considered to promote a variety of settings throughout the workplace; a series of private enclosed and semi enclosed space offer staff choice to work in a variety of ways that support the task at hand. Careful consideration was placed on the palette of the space, an energised social space to the calming tones on the work-floor while always maximizing the views across the Melbourne skyline.
